Who I Help

As a Women’s Health and Fitness Coach, I work with clients who want training that is supportive, personalized, and sustainable for real life.

My coaching focuses on helping people build strength, confidence, and long-term health through smart, personalized strength training for women and adults of all ages.

Who I Work Best With

I especially love working with:

  • Prenatal and postpartum women who want safe, effective training to feel strong, capable, and confident during and after pregnancy.
  • Perimenopausal and menopausal women who want strength training that supports hormone changes, recovery, and long-term health.
  • Adults 50+ who want to improve strength, balance, mobility, and independence so they can stay active and capable for years to come.
  • Post-physical therapy clients who want a structured and intelligent transition back to full strength and daily activities after injury or rehabilitation.
  • Beginners and returning exercisers who want a clear, encouraging plan and a coach who makes the gym feel approachable, supportive, and empowering.

My “niche” is women’s health, but my strength is coaching humans. If you want to build a better relationship with exercise and feel proud of how you move, you’ll fit right in.

My Story

Movement has been part of my life since I was little. I grew up in gymnastics and started coaching when I was younger. That experience shaped how I coach today: break things down, build trust, and help you feel safe trying something new.

As an adult, that foundation naturally became personal training and fitness group workouts. Over time, I also spent years working in physical therapy environments where PTs hand off clients to trainers for the next stage. That shaped my coaching instincts in a big way: progressions matter, communication matters, and “listen to your body” is only helpful if you have a plan that shows you how.

Outside the gym, I’m a mom of three, a Bay Area local, and a lifelong movement nerd. I love hiking, traveling, and circus arts. I’m also a home-cook, a fan of grassroots documentaries, and yes, I do fire dancing.

How I Coach

Upbeat and structured. I’m energetic, enthusiastic, and a little goofy, but your plan is never random.

Here’s what that looks like in practice:

  • We start with your goals and lifestyle
We discuss your needs, strengths, and areas for growth.
  • I design a simple full-body training framework
Your program supports your schedule, recovery, and daily life.
  • We choose movements you enjoy
You do not need to suffer through exercises you hate to get results.
  • I explain what we’re doing and why
Understanding the purpose of each exercise builds confidence and motivation.
  • We adjust based on real-life factors
Training adapts to soreness, stress levels, sleep, energy, and pain signals.

Communication is at the center of my coaching. I ask questions, I listen closely, and I want you to feel ownership in the process. I’m an expert in movement patterns; you’re the expert in your body. We build the plan together.

What training feels like with Marley

What You Can Expect

  • A quick check-in so the session matches how you’re actually feeling today
  • Music you enjoy and a fun warm-up that blends light cardio, balance, and mobility
  • Progressive strength training coaching with clear guidance and encouragement
  • Exercise options and modifications that still move you forward, even on low-energy days
  • Assisted stretching at the end that feels amazing and supports recovery
  • A high five (or a hug if you’re a hug person) and a simple goal to carry into real life

Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling better than they arrived. That’s the standard.

My Coaching Philosophy

While my primary niche is women’s health and fitness, my real strength is coaching humans.

If you want to build a healthier relationship with exercise, move better, and feel proud of your strength and progress, you’ll feel right at home here.

My Coaching Standards:

  • No shame-based coaching
You’ll get honesty, encouragement, and guidance—never judgment.
  • No random workouts
    Every phase of your
personalized strength training program has a clear purpose and progression.
  • No pushing through sharp pain signals
Your body gives important feedback. We adjust when needed while keeping your progress moving forward.
  • No exercises you hate “because you have to”
There are many ways to build strength. We choose movements that work for your body and your goals.
  • No intimidation
    The gym should feel
safe, welcoming, and accessible, whether you’re a beginner or returning after time away.
  • Structure plus flexibility
Consistency matters more than perfection. Your training plan adapts to real life.

Client wins I love the most

My favorite wins are the ones that change how you feel in your body day to day.

One of my favorite recent moments was simple but powerful. A client told us: “I haven’t been freed up to move so fluidly in years.”

That’s the kind of progress I care about: confidence, ease, and strength that shows up in real life.
